    IMPORTANT PRICING AND ORDERING INFORMATION

    Pricing

Our pricing on sterling and fine silver standard wire and sheet products is kept very low. To do this we have just one low price for all customers. We are able to keep our prices low because we produce such large quantities of these products and because we have the most up to date equipment. If you have a business and can supply us with an ABN number , IRD number (New Zealand) or business registration number (Other Countries) we will give you a trade price on many of our other products which is less than the normal price shown on the website.

If you are a student or a member of a lapidary club or other jewellery club we will give you a 5% club discount on many products.

To show eligibility for trade pricing or a discount please first register on our site, then download this Additional Information Form. Fill it in and then fax it to us and we will adjust your pricing accordingly.

As many of our products are based on world market prices they change according to movements in the metal prices and the exchange rate. Our website is automatically updated with these changes so you will find that prices per gram, metre, or whatever unit you are buying in, will change a little from day to day. Once you place an order, however, the price per gram will be fixed at that price.

Our pricing for these products is based on weight, and prices displayed by size should be treated as an estimate only. All cut to size items (like sheet or wire) will be weighed after cutting and you will be charged for the actual weight shipped at the fixed per gram price. Therefore the total price per item may vary slightly due to these variations. We try to keep this to a minimum but if we end up with a variance that exceeds 10% of the total of your order we will contact you before we proceed with despatch.

    Payment

Credit Card – When you elect to pay by credit card we process a pre-authorisation of $1.00 to ensure you have your card details correct, this is not a charge to your card. We do not bill the amount of your order to your card until the order is ready and has been checked by our order department. Once your order has passed checking the amount is then billed to the card.

Direct Deposit – If you choose to pay by direct deposit we will prepare your order then email you with the exact total and our bank details. Please use the order number on your direct payment as otherwise we do not know who the funds came from. So please do not send funds until we have sent you a pro-forma invoice with the exact total, because the amount will change.

Call For Credit Card – If you would like us to call you for payment, we will prepare your order and then call you with the exact total owing. You can then give us your credit card number on the phone for payment. You must make sure that you give us a phone number that we can contact you on during working hours to do this.

Cheque – Once you order is ready we will email you a pro-forma invoice with our postal address so that you can mail us a cheque as payment. Please do not send a cheque before we send you the pro-forma as the amount needs to be finalised.

    Delivery Time and Backorders

If items are in stock we generally ship with in 48 hours. Although we try to keep all our products in stock as much as possible, we have a large range and sometimes we need to backorder some products. If this is the case we will endeavor to contact you to let you know. Sometimes it will only mean a delay of a few days if it is a product we manufacture in Australia but if it is an imported item this can be longer.

If we do backorder an item we do not charge you for the freight on the backordered item, nor do we charge your credit card for the goods until they are dispatched. If the backorder item is worth less than A$10.00 we ask you to re order the item as we will not backorder it.

    Refining

We can take your scrap metals and send them to our refinery for processing.
